Internships

Thank you for your interest in an intern position with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA). Interns help with the areas of HFH GLA that are beyond the construction site such as working in the business office or Re Store. They are a vital part of the work of Habitat.

What is the time commitment for an internship?
Internships are 8-10 weeks.

What is the age requirement for an intern?
Interns must be at least 16 years of age, however other requirements may apply based upon the position. 

How many hours a week do interns work?
Interns work between 10 – 20 hours a week.

Do interns receive compensation?
Interns receive valuable experience but no monetary compensation.  Course credit may be available to students. Check with your school, college or university for requirements.

Where are the positions located?
All internship positions are based at the HFH GLA headquarters located at 17700 S. Figueroa Street in Gardena.
