Get Involved!Global Resources and Opportunity for Women to Thrive Act (GROWTH Act), H.R. 2965 and S. 2069In many countries, women cannot own or inherit property. This makes them more vulnerable to poverty, gender-based violence, trafficking and HIV/AIDS. Decades of research have shown that when women get more resources, they put their money in making sure their children have better housing, nutrition, education and health care. This creates a multiplier effect that strengthens families and communities over time.Download the Petition and Vote YES for the GROWTH Act Advocacy AmbassadorAdvocacy is a priority function of Habitat for Humanity's mission to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness around the world.
