We have a pipeline of nearly a hundred hard working, low income families who are in need of a variety of health and safety related home repairs, including new roofs, windows and weatherization before El Niño arrives. Many of them are elderly, disabled or veteran homeowners, who are unable to replace their unstable or severely damaged roofs. A number of them are on a fixed income and in some cases earn less than $30,000 annually.
With the imminent arrival of many storms due to El Niño, many of these families will not be able to stay in their homes without help. As you consider where to give your support on #GivingTuesday, we ask you to help your neighbors and give the gift of a safe and secure place to call home.
